Our Inspection & Prep (What “work-ready” means to us)

Every excavator we sell goes through a practical workshop check designed for real-world work:

  • Undercarriage: Chains, sprockets, idlers & rollers measured; track tension set.
  • Pins & bushes: Assessed at bucket, dipper, boom and slew; we note any play and options to rectify.
  • Hydraulics: Function speed and response under load; cylinders, hoses & fittings checked for leaks.
  • Slew & structure: Swing bearing feel, turntable, chassis and upper frame visual inspection.
  • Engine & cooling: Start quality (cold/hot), smoke, blow-by, fluids, filters, belts, radiator & intercooler.
  • Electrics & cab: Lights, switches, gauges, A/C, seat, safety decals, isolators and beacons as applicable.
  • Documentation: Hours noted, service history recorded where available, PPSR certificate supplied.
